MANAMA: Two homemade bombs, a cache of Molotov cocktails, petrol tanks and other materials used by rioters in attacking policemen and damaging property have been seized in Bahrain.
They were found during a raid on a warehouse in Bilad Al Qadeem, which was used to make the bombs, police said last night.
Items seized also included empty containers used for bomb-making, improvised fire extinguisher guns, iron rods, tyres, homemade protective body armours and wires. Earlier in the day, police also confiscated 52 firebombs during a search in Duraz.
Meanwhile, legal action has been taken against a group suspected of being involved in terror acts in Shakhoora after the Interior Ministry's operations room received a call that some of those involved had been taken to hospital for emergency treatment by family members.
